Wallets
A wallet is only needed for the two optional $PVE features: the Grove permit and the Supporter lantern. You can play everything else without one.

Connecting on a computer
- Install your wallet's browser extension and unlock it.
- In the game, press P (or Menu → Wallet · $PVE).
- Pick your wallet. Its row says Connect if the extension is installed, or Install with a link to the wallet's official download page if not.
- Approve the connection in the wallet's pop-up. The row says "Check your wallet…" while it waits.
The game remembers which wallet you used. Next time, if you've already approved the site, it reconnects quietly without a pop-up.
Connecting on a phone
Phone browsers can't run wallet extensions, so you open the game inside your wallet app instead.
- Open the Wallet screen (Menu → Wallet · $PVE).
- Tap Open in app next to Phantom or Solflare. The game reopens inside that wallet's built-in browser.
- Tap your wallet again there and approve the connection.
For Backpack, open the Backpack app, go to its built-in browser, and visit playpve.xyz.
Your progress there starts fresh
A wallet's built-in browser is a separate browser, with its own storage. A journey in Safari or Chrome doesn't carry over, and the wallet browser starts a new journey. A Grove permit belongs to the save it was bought on. See Saves.
The Wallet screen
Once connected, the Wallet screen shows:

Refresh re-reads your balances. Disconnect forgets the wallet in this game. If you switch accounts inside your wallet, the game follows the new account.
If Solana can't be reached, the screen says "Couldn't reach Solana" with the reason. Press Refresh to try again.
The Supporter lantern
Hold 1 $PVE or more in your connected wallet and your lantern turns gold: a wider, warmer light around you, and gold sparkles as you walk. It's purely cosmetic and changes nothing in battles or catching. The Perk row in the Wallet screen shows when it's active. If you disconnect, or your balance drops below 1, the lantern goes back to normal.
Disconnecting the site completely
The game's Disconnect button ends the session in the game. To remove the game's access entirely, use your wallet's own settings: look for Connected apps or Trusted apps and remove playpve.xyz.
