Finding Mew
Mew is the valley's only mythical Pokémon. It appears only at night (7:30 PM to 5:00 AM), only in the Moonlit Grove, always at level 20.
- Rest at home until nightfall, then walk up through the woods to the Grove.
- Mew's catch rate is 45, tied with Eevee for the lowest of any wild Pokémon. The throw ring also moves fastest for mythic Pokémon.
- Stack every bonus you can: a Great Ball, a tossed Moonfig (its favorite), an Excellent throw, and low HP. See Catching.
- The shrine's carvings hint at it. Read them by day and again at night.
Moonfigs grow here
The Grove's two bushes only grow Moonfigs, and they often drop a Moonfig seed too. Plant those seeds in the hamlet garden for a steady supply of full heals.
