What $PVE is
$PVE is the utility token of Pokémon Valley Explorers. It's a standard token on the Solana blockchain. In the game it's the currency of the $PVE Market, and every $PVE spent there is burned.

What it does in the game
| Use | What you do | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| $PVE Market | Burn $PVE for an item | Evolution stones (the only way to get Raichu, Clefable and Ninetales), a Master Ball, Ultra Balls, Rare Candy, a Lucky Egg, a Sprinkler, and the Grove permit. See the market |
| Expedition Permit | Burn 100 $PVE (a market item) | The Moonlit Grove gate opens on your save, for good. Step by step |
| Supporter lantern | Hold 1 $PVE or more in a connected wallet | Your lantern glows gold, with a wider light and a trail of gold sparkles as you walk. Cosmetic only. |
The hamlet, the woods, both trainers, the garden, Mira's regular shop and most of the Pokédex are free, with no wallet. The Grove, its Pokémon, the three stone evolutions and the market's items need $PVE.
What it isn't
- Not needed to play. Connecting a wallet is optional, and the game never asks for one until you choose to.
- Not earned in the game. Battles, catching and farming give Poké Dollars (₽), which are in-game money saved in your browser. They are not $PVE and can't become $PVE.
- Not sold by the game. Nothing in Valley Explorers sells $PVE, sets a price for it, or offers a way to trade it. $PVE trades on pump.fun, independently of the game.
- Not an investment. $PVE buys items in a game. There is no staking, no yield, and no reward for holding it beyond the lantern. Only get it if you want those things.

Before you connect a wallet
Read Wallet safety. The short version: the game never asks for your seed phrase, connecting only shares your public address, and the only transactions it ever asks you to sign are market purchases (a burn plus a memo receipt), which it explains in plain words first.
